Dr.Augustus Valmond
Augustus Valmond, MD, is a board-certified interventional nephrologist based in Harlem, New York, with extensive experience in internal medicine, nephrology, and functional medicine. Dr. Valmond earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Howard University College of Medicine and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Davis. He completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in nephrology at Albert Einstein/Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where he also served as an Assistant Professor for over five years, sharing his expertise in basic science and clinical research.
Dr. Valmond is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, focusing on functional medicine and aesthetics, which emphasizes a holistic, patient-centered approach to health by integrating Western and Eastern medicine. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he played a pivotal role as a Medical Advisor for the COVID-19 Urban Outreach Council, providing mobile medical services to underserved communities disproportionately affected by the virus. Dr. Valmond is also known for his compassionate bedside manner and dedication to addressing health disparities through education, lifestyle modification, and mentorship programs at his practice, Valmond Medical PLLC, located in the heart of Harlem.

Freda Borukhov, PA, is a highly skilled physician assistant with a Master of Science in physician assistant studies from Touro University in Manhattan. She began her career at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx and further honed her expertise at MedRite Urgent Care, serving New York City and New Jersey communities. Freda leads MediFreda, a state-of-the-art MedSpa located in Williston Park and Queens, New York, specializing in advanced aesthetic treatments designed to rejuvenate and enhance natural beauty.
With a focus on facial harmony and balance, Freda and her team offer customized procedures such as Botox®, Sculptra®, natural-looking lip fillers, nonsurgical liquid facelifts, and PDO thread lifts.
